Easter Babies
My babies were both born right around Easter. Zoe was born the day after Easter (I spent all day on my feet cooking for friends, then woke up at 6AM in labor) and Julian came home from the hospital the day before Easter. We have also lost loved ones around Easter. So Easter time has themes of life and birth, even beyond the traditional.
This year we had a very mellow Easter. Zoe and I dyed eggs the day before, but Zoe wasn't too into it. Auntie Michelle made an Easter basket with hand dyed eggs and chocolate goodies, that the Easter Bunny delivered while Zoe and Daddy were out getting coffee on Easter morning. The EB also hid eggs around the house while they were out, and the kids enjoyed hunting for them. Later, we went swimming at the Y. By evening, Zoe was very sick and feverish, with green goo in her eyes and nose. A trip to the Dr. the next day revealed a miserable ear infection, which spread to Julian two days later.
