Swim Class
It's tedious. It's chaotic. It's stressful. It's crowded.
It's warm, it's exhausting, it's routine, it's engaging, it's not lonely.
Sometimes winter can feel endlessly dreary, cold, dark and lonely.
Our twice weekly swim class (not including the extra swims that Daddy does on the weekends)
really help us to get through the dark months of winter. The boisterous Berkeley Y full of families
(with seemingly much better behaved children) can feel like a familiar routine that gets us out of the house
and nicely exhausted by the time it's over. The pools are like bathwater, the Kindergym gets the wiggles out, and
everyone gets a shower and is ready for dinner and bed by the end. For a few months, we spend a LOT of time here.
