Julian brought his boat to push through puddles at the park today. After SO MUCH rain, we were lucky enough to get a small break in the storms, long enough for a trip to the woods. Zoe pedaled her way through the forest while Julian and I followed along, Julian stopping to test his ark in each puddle along the way. Afterward, everything fit back nicely into our own ark the new Honda Mini Van. There's enough room in there for two of everything!

Aha ! Nice van, van-mom ! Mort's son and our DIL (& 2 grands) are on their second Odyssey...with athletic kids at 13 and 9 who each have excellent social skills, they find the van fills up quickly with parts of teams, lots of 'stuff' and never-endingly fascinating conversations overheard by the driver of the day.
