I'm up!

"Look what I can do!"
Uh oh, here we go. Why sleep when you can stand? She's like a weeble wobble, there's no keeping her down.
Crawling so fast, grabbing everything in sight. Too much excitement to sleep, she spends naptime crawling around her crib trying to find a way to rappel down. I go in to check on her and find the jail bird staring at me through the bars, smiling.
Nico immediately installed the safety latches under the sink (which we keep jamming ourselves on everytime we go for a papertowel- doh!) and lowered the crib down a notch. She has been practicing climing up on things all afternoon.

What a way to start the year, with a cold. That won't keep me down, though! It's a brisk stroll in the forest at Waddel Beach- soothing sea air, birds chirping, salamanders scooting across the trail.
