New jammies for all

Zoe asked (repeatedly) if I would take her picture in her new jammies. She even went and fetched my camera for me. She used to shun the evil box, but now she has turned the cheek- lucky for me! She smiles, cheeses, and takes direction- shew! I was beginning to worry.
These jammies, by the way, are rarely off her bod. I had to implement a "change into clothes when we leave the house" rule, but as soon as we're home, she is stripping off the clothes, and zipping into the polar bear p.j.s.
The other pair are for Julian... but Mr. Bear has been borrowing them until it gets colder.

Julian's Autumn Photoshoot

Today Juju and I had a great little fall portrait session in the woods. The leaves are changing, but it's not too cold out. I spent most of the time trying to get him to look AT the camera, and he spent much time looking down, running away, or playing with dirt. But we got some cute shots, so here you are, g'mas!

Pumpkin Patch

Our annual trip to Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay for their really neat Pumpkin Patch adventure, complete with train rides, face painting, spooky decorations (or as Zoe refers to it, 'smooky'), ponies, and yeah, pumpkins of all kinds.
After Zoe and Julian picked out their pumpkins, Nico asked Zoe about carving it.
"What are you going to carve your pumpkin into, Zoe?"
Zoe replied, "A pie".
That's our girl.
