Summer Ride

From South to North

Today we made our way back to the Bay Area via 101. I know it's a long road, but we love so many of it's parts. We flew through LA without any traffic, hit the Whole Foods in Santa Barbara to buy a picnic lunch that we ate in Nojoqui Park before hiking out to the waterfall there. Then back in the car, we stopped for a beach frolic in Pismo, and finally hit up the Jamba Juice in SLO before the final stretch home. Between movies and frolics and beaches and waterfalls, beautiful scenery the whole way, it was a lovely drive- and we'll do it again!

Mother & Sick Child

Mister started his summer vacation with a nasty flu. He only ingested popsicles for 3 days. Fever near 104. Not fun. Mommy was sick with worry. No one likes to see a sick child.

Refugio Beach

The Kids' first camping trip! With Nana and Mommy at Refugio Beach, near Santa Barbara. The kids did great! They made friends, played on the beach and help set up tents.
